The Young Artist Academy is a vastly different organization from when it was first founded in 1978. Since coming under new Management in January 2017, its previous business model and partners were replaced. That same year, after a 20 year hiatus, Allport Productions was commissioned to direct the annual award show - equipped by the academy with new directives and conventions. With notably stricter security protocols in place, the organization does not permit any unverified or disreputable individuals to be affiliated with its projects and events, barring their participation and proximity to its Members and guests. The Young Artist Academy proactively separates from unevolving business relationships, with a focus on progressive practices and goals. The non-profit organization has alligned with brands such as GenZ Social Summit, Kidz Con, Le PeTiT CiRqUe, and the Directors Guild of America. The Board of Governors aims to educate, protect, and train young entertainers to safely navigate and elevate in Hollywood, while giving them an annual platform for high-class recognition. The academy maintains transparency in its processes and structure, provides a new level of edu-tainment, bringing its participants and members valuable year-round opportunities.
